Boucheron "Carré" from the 1960s

This was a special watch that was only sold to a limited number of Boucheron customers at the time.

The distinctive bracelet, which can be attached and detached by sliding the top of the case, is a patented technology from Boucheron.

Boucheron's signature Clou de Paris (French for cobblestone) finish is applied to the entire watch, from the strap to the dial and case.

The design does not include a dial, logo, or even a buckle, allowing for a seamless, abstract sculptural expression, as if the hands were floating on a golden tile.

The Clous de Paris finish catches the light softly, and the watch changes its appearance whimsically depending on the light source, smiling mischievously on the wearer's wrist.
